Jo Anna Wyatt, age 80, of Western Grove, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Cane Branch, Arkansas on March 22, 1942, to Virgil and Lois (Gentry) Gibbons.
Jo Anna attended Pine Bluff Community Church in St. Joe. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and Nanny. Her life revolved around her family, and she treasured time spent together. She enjoyed cooking all of the family dinners until her health no longer permitted. Jo Anna worked hard and enjoyed her time working on the farm. She also loved doing genealogy research in her free time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J.G. Wyatt, two grandchildren, Jared Dye and Breanna Wilson, a great grandson, Brayden Wilson; brothers-in-law, Robert, Albert, Newt, and Dave Wyatt; and sisters-in-law, Novaleen Hendrix and Cindy Grinder.
Jo Anna is survived by two sons, Chris Wyatt and wife Cindy, and Carey Wyatt; three daughters, Diana Dye and husband Leo, Angie Bower and husband Richard, and Crystal Wilson and husband David; 25 grandchildren, Autumn, Cody, Matt, Noah, Sam, and Seth Wyatt; Andrea Singleton, Micah, Aaron, and Caleb Dye, Kara Swearingen; Jacob, Josh, Isaac, Abby and Ben Dye; Jayanna Ricketts, Kayla Horn, Paul and Charity Bower; Alyssa, Ethan, Hunter, Tyler, and Colter Wilson; 45 great grandchildren; her brother, Nathan Gibbons and wife Carol; her sister, Pat Wyatt; and brother-in-law, Ed Wyatt and wife Pauline; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends who loved her and will mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 10 AM, Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Holder Chapel in Western Grove with Angie Bower and Leo Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Western Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 PM – 7 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Pallbearers will be her Grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers are the nurses and staff of Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
Flowers are welcome, or donations in her memory can be made to Gideon's International.
