Barbara Jo Vick, age 68 of Lead Hill, Arkansas passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of James and Bertha (Dees) Belding was born March 22, 1944 in Harrison.
She married her husband, Paul J. Vick on May 18, 1960. They enjoyed 52 1/2 years together.
Jo attended Welcome Ridge Full Gospel Church near Lakeway, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and enjoyed woodcrafting, fishing, and hunting. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William "Dub" Belding; and a nephew, Jimmy L. Newman.
Survivors are her husband, Paul J. Vick of the home; sons, James Vick of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Phillip Lee Vick and wife Jennifer of Calico Rock, Arkansas and Matt Vick and wife Crystal of Branson, Missouri; daughters, Etta Jean Caviness of Eros, Arkansas, Pamella Jo Vick of Lead Hill, Arkansas and Paula Flewellen of Perryville, Arkansas; a sister, Charlene Brown of Searcy, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Tuesday, October 16, 2012 with the service Tuesday, October 16, 2012, both at Lead Hill Church of God. Brother Gene Saylors officiated.
Burial followed in York Cemetery at Bergman, Arkansas with pallbearers being Larry Robinson, Roy Caviness, Travis Caviness, David Davis, Joe Johnson, and Roland Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers were, Welcome Ridge Full Gospel Church.
