Obituary

Jimmy "Jimbo" Lynn Hicks, age 25 of Everton, AR passed away Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Pyatt, AR.

The son of Jimmy Lynn Shirley and Sandra J. (Hicks) Royce, was born March 13, 1982 in Harrison, AR.
His father preceded him in death along with his paternal grandmother, Juanita Shirley; an uncle, Tom Hicks; aunts, Cindy Hicks and Sarah Kidd; and a cousin, Steven Hicks.

Jimmy worked for Wabash Wood Products. He enjoyed playing the guitar, drawing, and art. He especially loved being with his family - enjoying his cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Survivors are his mother and father, Sandra and Cecil Royce of Vendor; maternal grandparents, Ruby and Huey Hicks of Valley Springs; paternal grandfather, Woodrow Shirley of Cabot; his girlfriend and her daughters, Jody Mellein, and Courtney and Taylor of Everton; brothers, Quinton Royce and his wife, Sondra and their children, Elijah and Chloe, all of Bergman and Brently Royce and Matthew Royce, both of Vendor; and sister, Annette Hughes and her husband, Linn and their children, Heather, Dylan, and Marissa all of Omaha; aunts and uncles, Joe and Mildred Hicks of Valley Springs, Sam Hicks of Pine Bluff, Mona and Donald Berry of Harrison, Brenda Hicks of Patrick, AR, Frank and Judy Shirley and Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Shirley, all of North Little Rock, and Daniel and Trish Royce, Carl and Deena Royce and Teresa and Dan Ford, all of Vendor, and Betty and Allen Eddings of Hasty, many cousins, nieces, nephews and mumerous friends.

All of Jimmy's family and friends will miss him dearly.

Visitation was Monday, 6-8 PM with service on Tuesday, 2:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home. Dwayne Bryant officiated. The burial was in Ricketts Cemetery at Vendor.

Pallbearers were Bully Kidd, Linn Hughes, Wayne Shirley, Jesse Hicks, Ronnie Berry, Donnie Berry, and Spencer McElrea.
Honorary Pallbearers are Daniel Royce, Carl Royce, Claude Lomax, Jeff Mason, Mike Parks, David Wilcutt, friends and co-workers at Wabash.

A memorial fund has been set up in Jimmy's memory at Bank of the Ozarks.
