Obituary
Jimmy Doyle Dotson, age 64 of Pelsor, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Springfield, Missouri.
The son of William Sam and Alma (Bolin) Dotson was born on April 19, 1950 at Cowell, Arkansas. He was a lifetime resident of Newton County. He had worked as a mechanic and in construction.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors are his mother Alma Dotson of Harrison; his children David Dotson, Michael Dotson and Elizabeth Ewing all of Lurton; his devoted, loving, caring girlfriend Janet Canady of Harrison; one brother Glen Dotson of Harrison; four sisters, Linda and Luell Smith of Lurton, Debbie and Cary Middleton of Oklahoma, Donna and Ron Govoro of Missouri and Jackie Rylee of Harrison; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral service was at 2 P.M. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Deer School Gymnasium with Leonard Bob Chisum officiating. Burial followed in Cowell Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper.
Pallbearers were Harold Freeman, Randy Dotson, Tim Middleton, James Dotson, James Rylee and Braden James. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Martinez and staff.
