Jimmy Dale Christian, Sr., age 69 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at his home.
The son of Willard Albert and Wilma Lee (McElhaney) Christian was born February 27, 1947 at Aurora, Arkansas.
He had lived in Newton and Boone County for the last 15 years, coming from Rogersville, Missouri. He worked as a truckdriver and mechanic. Jimmy Dale loved to buy, sell and trade anything. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and telling stories.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Jeff and Gary.
Jimmy Dale is survived by 2 sons, Jimmy Christian, Jr., and Kenneth Christian both of Rogersville; 1 daughter, Tonie Duckworth of Willard, Missouri; 2 brothers, Thomas Christian of Rogersville, Missouri and Phillip Christian of Bradleyville, Missouri; 1 sister, Carol Horn of Fordland, Missouri; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Coffman Chapel in Harrison, Arkansas. Private burial service will be held at Aurora Cemetery near Huntsville, Arkansas.
