Jimmy D. Baughman, age 72, of Harrison, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at NARMC.

The son of Roy Dean and Martha (Edmonson) Baughman was born July 30, 1951 in Woodburn, Oregon.

He was a lifelong resident of Harrison and had worked as a stone mason.  He was a veteran of the US Army, and served during the Vietnam War. Jimmy loved to help people, even when he had very little himself. He enjoyed fishing and hunting for arrowheads.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Dean Baughman, and his younger brother, Jeffrey Scott Baughman.  His mother, Martha (Edmonson) Baughman Smith, passed away two days after Jimmy on January 1, 2024.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Jeffrey Baughman of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and two sisters Charlotte Wilkerson of St. Charles, Missouri and Beverly Bass and husband, Jim, of Russellville, Arkansas; his aunts and uncles, Barbara Harness, Duveen Norton, Karen and Ron Moore, Glen Baughman, and Lee Baughman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service for Jimmy will be held Thursday, Jan 4, 2024 at 2:30 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in conjunction with his mother, Martha Smith's service.  Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
