Jimmie Rae Yarbrough, age 90 of Valley Springs, Arkansas passed away on September 5, 2021.  She was born on August 2, 1931 in Tomahawk, Arkansas, the daughter of Jim and Flonie (Baker) Yarbrough.

Jimmie was a charter member of First Baptist Church in Valley Springs.  She spent over 50 years in the banking industry in Harrison.  She loved horses and going to the beach on vacation.  She was very interested in genealogy and was instrumental in putting together the Yarbrough family reunions.  She especially loved her nieces and nephews and helped all of them whenever she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ben Yarbrough and James Yarbrough and two sisters, Faye Yarbrough and Stella Wells.

Jimmie is survived by a brother, Bob Yarbrough and wife Julia of Valley Springs; a special friend and caregiver, Linda and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will mourn her passing.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 10:00 am at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison with Reverend Jimmy Dale Huskey officiating.  Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
