Obituary

Jimmie Dean Sisco, of Harrison, passed away on Wednesday August 24, 2022 at North Arkansas Medical Center in Harrison, AR surrounded by family. He was 62 years old.

The son of Hershel Sisco and Anna (Reavis) Sisco Cross was born October 2, 1959 in Harrison, Arkansas.

Jimmie attended Compton School. He married the love of his life Donna Jean Bowling on March 24, 1979. Together they raised 4 children and many fur babies.

Jimmie was many things to many people but for his wife and children he was the provider, the protector, quite the story teller, and the most stubborn at times. Jimmie spent many years providing for his family working at Claridge. He also had an amazing love for his community. He served as a volunteer firefighter for Valley Springs Fire Department for 20+ years and remained serving on the board of directors up to his death. He also was a part of the Office of Emergency Management as well. He loved chasing the storms issuing warnings and updates.  He loved his family and community dearly.  He will truly be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hershel Sisco; one brother, Benny Sisco; one sister, Linda Blevins; one grandson Christian Criner.

Survivors include his mother, Anna (Reavis) Sisco Cross; his wife Donna (Bowling) Sisco; three daughters and their husbands, Christy and Jeremy Allmond, Sara and Billy Mixon, Kimberly and Jeremey Criner; one son and his wife, Timothy and Crystal Sisco, grandchildren, Tate and Kylie Criner, Brylee Methvin, Jaina and Asher Allmond, Shea Taylor, Emmett Mixon; Gavin Sisco, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family friends and wonderful neighbors.

Celebration of life will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.  Burial will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 PM – 7 PM at the funeral home.
