Jimmie Lou (Nichols) McCutcheon, age 91, of Mt. Judea, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of Jim and Vesta (Freeman) Nichols was born on December 19, 1933 in Mt. Judea, Arkansas.
A lifelong resident of Newton County and a faithful member of the Church of Christ, Jimmie lived her life with a sense of adventure and joy. She loved fishing, cross-stitching, and spending time with her family, especially during four-wheeler rides. Her birthdays, holidays, and visits from her grandchildren were moments she treasured deeply.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Desmal McCutcheon; one son, Larry Wayne McCutcheon; one grandson, Chadrick McCutcheon; her parents; her stepmother, Irene Nichols; two brothers; and four sisters.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Rickey and Euna McCutcheon, of Mt. Judea; two daughters and their husbands, Regina and Dennis Tennison, of Harrison, and Relessia "Lisa" and Randy Martin, of the home; one sister, Bettye (Christian) Robinson, of Lead Hill; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Mitchell McCutcheon and Luell McCutchen; and a very special friend, Roy Coonts.
Visitation is Friday, December 5, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
Funeral service will be Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Dale Tennison and Mark Arnold will officiate. Burial will be in Ben's Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jason Henson, Chad McCutcheon, Derek Tennison, Daniel Tennison, E.J. Freeman, Derek Davis, and Devin Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Geoffrey Dunaway, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all her other family and friends.
