Jimmie Dale Hill, age 90, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on December 3, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Jim was the son of Loy Erastus and Myrtle Rea Hill and was born on March 16, 1932 in Iceledo, Arkansas.

He was a member of the Capps Road Church of Christ and he served as an elder for many years. Jim was an avid reader. He loved reading his bible and studying God's word.

Jim loved and cherished the time spent with his family over the years and the many good memories that were made. He also loved and cherished his church family. Many of his closest and dearest friendships were those he had within his church family.

He graduated from Mt. Judea in 1949 and played center on the school basketball team whose games, at that time, were played outside and on a dirt court. He loved talking about old times spent with his siblings, cousins, and friends. He visited friends in the nursing homes often through the years.

Jim was a hard and dedicated worker. He worked for Foremost Dairy and Hiland Milk Company for forty years delivering and stocking milk products to local grocery stores, restaurants, nursing homes, and schools.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean Hill; his parents; two brothers, Ralph Wayne Hill and Paul Ray Hill; and an infant sister, Pauline.

He is survived by his son, Rick (Sherry) Hill; his daughter, Judy (Ron) McAfee; three grandchildren, Jason (Brande) McAfee, Julie (William) Harrington, and Kristi McAfee; and one sister, Janet Deweese.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Bellefonte Cemetery.
