Jim D. Grigsby began his life's journey on October 26,1937 and arrived at his destination on April 9, 2021.

Jim was born in Malvern, Arkansas to Jim L. and Juanita Treasa (Levisee) Grigsby, the 4th of seven children.

He attended Draughon's Business College in Little Rock, Arkansas and upon graduation, moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he began his career in transportation with Missouri Pacific Railroad. After 18 years he moved to Harrison, Arkansas working for Garrison Motor Freight (currently FedEx) for 5 years before moving to Houston, Texas, where he was employed by Exxon Oil, until health issues lead him to early retirement.

Jim was preceded in death by both parents; and three sisters, Bonnie Jones, Nadine Berry and Patsy Jergens.

He is survived by his children, Phillip Grigsby of Charlotte, North Carolina, Michelle Graham of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Paul Grigsby of Maui, Hawaii; brothers, Jerald Myers of Las Cruses, New Mexico and Wayne Grigsby and wife Sandra of Williamsburg, Virginia; and one sister, Debra Keef and husband James of Harrison, Arkansas.
