Obituary
Jewell White, age 86 of Derby, Kansas passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in Kansas.
The son of J.C. and Ethel (Greenhall) White was born January 23, 1923 at St. Joe, Arkansas.
He had lived in Derby, Kansas since 1952 and retired as a Boeing Security Officer in Wichita, Kansas.
Jewell was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Eva.
Survivors are his wife, Sally of the home; son, Paul Henson of Fredonia, Kansas; step-children, Deborah Auer of El Doroado, Kansas, Frank Beyer of Goddard, Kansas, Mark Beyer of Towanda, Kansas, and Donna Buck of Kansas City, Kansas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Service 10 A.M. Friday, Novembr 13, 2009 at Pleasantview Baptist Church in Derby, Kansas.
Visitation was Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. There was a committal service Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Love Cemetery in St. Joe with Rev. Glenn Crenshaw officiating.
Local arrangements have been handled by Coffman Funeral Home.
