Obituary
Jessie May Meeks, age 93 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at her residence.
The daughter of George Janson Sanford Rogers and Jessie Madge (Crumb) Rogers was born on May 5, 1923 in Superior, Nebraska. She had moved to Jasper 21 years ago from Titusville, Florida. She was a housewife.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles Lloyd Meeks; brothers and sisters Ruby Grigsby Dobbins, Bill Rogers, Edna Blevins, Indianola Tricky, Eleanor Gregg and George Rogers, Jr.
Survivors are her children Glen Egloff of Titusville, Florida, Beverly Jean Habiger of Iola, Kansas and Jeannie Kenney of Jasper, Arkansas; one brother Roy Rogers of Topeka, Kansas; one sister Odessa Cheaver of Iola, Kansas; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and twenty-two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Waterfalls Church on East Stephenson in Harrison, Arkansas.
