Jesse Charles Moore, age 87, of Bruno-Pyatt, Arkansas passed away at home on Friday, December 20, 2024.

The son of James Oscar Moore and Clara Ann (Vinson) Moore was born in Mercer, Tennessee on January 5, 1937.

Jesse moved to Marion County 28 years ago from Dallas, Texas. He sold life insurance for 50 years, spending the last 37 years working for Reliable Life Insurance. He was a Master Mason and a lifetime member of Mesquite-Buckner Lodge #1176. After settling in Bruno-Pyatt, he and his late wife became faithful members of Pyatt Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He ran a cattle farm until 2021.

Jesse enjoyed fishing, and he was also a craftsman and builder. He was an avid reader, especially of political and religious books. He enjoyed watching Fox News and News Max. Jesse was a proud patriot and loved his country and the US Flag.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Ann Moore; his father, James Oscar Moore; his mother, Clara Ann (Vinson) Moore Hill; a daughter, Lauren Elaine Moore Sunday; a brother, Bobby Hugh Moore; son-in-law, Miles Devlin; and brother-in-law, Gayle Saffle.

Jesse is survived by his son, Joshua Charles Moore and wife, Michelle Lee Moore; two daughters, Deborah Ann Moore Owens and husband, Lamar Owens and Katherine Elizabeth Moore Devlin; a brother, James Dennis Moore and wife, Sandra Moore; a sister, Elaine Saffle; six grandchildren, Travis Owens and wife Jenny, Tyler Owens, Hunter Sunday, Robbie Devlin, Gavin Moore, and Sydney Moore; a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and his Pyatt Baptist Church family.

Funeral service will be at 11 AM, Monday, December 23 (2024) at Pyatt Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Vance officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the visitation beginning at 10 AM, at the church.  Burial will follow at Patton Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.

Pallbearers are Tony Whitsel, Bart Beavers, Donnie Urioste, Ron Phillips, Ron Cothran, and Hugh Sells.
