Obituary
Jerry Lee Smith, age 47 of Lead Hill, AR passed away Friday, November 2, 2007 in Bellefonte, AR.
The son of Lee and Irene (Harp) Smith, was born September 30, 1960 in Harrison, AR.
Jerry was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed horseback riding and showing horses.
His parents preceded him in death, along with his sisters, Melissa (Smith) Hunter and Brenda Jo Smith.
Survivors are his sons, Justin Lee Smith, of Harrison, Carry Don Smith and his wife, Dianna, also of Harrison, Clayton Smith, of Jasper, AR, and Tyler Smith of Lead Hill, AR. He is also survived by a sister, Barbara Taylor and her husband, Roy "Buster" Taylor, of Lead Hill; a brother, Donald Smith and his wife, Brenda; and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
Visitation was Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Service was Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Cross Roads Community Church with Barry O'Neal officiating. Burial followed at Summers Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joshua Cross, Clint Simmons, William Cain, Chris Cain, Bill Burleson, and Randy Keef. Honorary pallbearers were his many friends and the members of the Law Enforcement Agencies he had worked with 18 years and the friends he made there, also his special friends, Larry D. Harp and Larry Cantrell.
