Obituary
Jerry Lee Orr, age 83 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Harrison.
The son of Scott and Alpha (Slagley) Orr was born on January 19, 1934 in Bergman, Arkansas.
Jerry proudly served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked at Mass Merchandisers for many years and won several sales awards during his time there. He had many friends that he enjoyed talking to and spending time with.
Jerry is survived by a wife, Tena Orr of the home; one son, Roger Orr of Harrison; one daughter, Diana Jones and husband Ron of Idabel, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Grace Brisco, Evelyn Webb and Rhoda Evans; 4 grandchildren, Sarah Orr, Emma Orr, Stephen Jones and Stephanie Benshoof; 3 great-grandchildren, Georgia Jones, Zoe Jones and Matthew Benshoof and many other family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the York Cemetery in Bergman, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you donate to your favorite veteran's charity.
