Obituary
Jerry Carl Nichols, age 76 of Harrison, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at his home.
The son of Guy and Delia (Pigg) Nichols was born August 17, 1934 in Harrison, Arkansas.
Jerry loved to fish, and feed deer and wild animals. He was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.
He served 26 years in the Armed Forces where he did tours in Vietnam and Korea.
He most recently worked in the trucking industry for Batesville Truck line in Harrison where he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Donna Richardson.
Jerry Nichols is survived by his wife, Willodean (Henson) Nichols of the home; his children, Pamela Nichols and fiancee, Billy Mason of Harrison, Freddie Nichols and wife, Renee of Rogers, Vickie Richardson and husband Tommy of Harrison, and Kennith Nichols and wife Susie of Harrison; his brother, Pat Nichols and wife Carol of Harrison; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, January 31, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
