Obituary
Jerry L. Gilden, age 69 of Oxford, Arkansas passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at his home.
The son of Richard and Lula Fern Gilden was born July 30, 1943 in Andrix, Colorado.
Jerry served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR races.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.
Survivors are his wife, Olivia (Irvin) Gilden of the home; his daughters, Carey Pickett and husband, Donald of South Dakota, Karen Gibbs and husband, Michael of Houston, Texas, Cheryl Spence and husband, Donny of Yellville, Arkansas, and Deana Kollin and husband, Cliff of Harrison, Arkansas; a step-son, James Sherbondy of Alabama; brother, Dale Gilden of Colorado; sister, Audrey Jurgens of Colorado; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Graveside service was Friday, April 12, 2013 at Crawford Cemetery near Everton with Danny Spence officiating.
Pallbearers were Travis Spence, Brandon Kollin, Steven Kollin, Garrett Ramsey, Braeden Rogers, and Steve Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers were Dale Gilden, Donald Pickett, Michael Gibbs, Donny Spence, Cliff Kollin, and Chad Taylor.
