Obituary
Jerry Lee Carter, age 68 of Harrison passed away Thursday February 23, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The son of William Lowell Carter Sr. and Margaret Jewell (Hicks) Carter was born December 5, 1943 in Sherman, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael Lee Carter; and a sister, Margaret Ann Sisemore.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Watkins) Carter of the home; daughters Melissa Gonzalez and Geneva Carter, both of Harrison; a step-son, John Casey of Benton, Ar; a step-daughter, Shauna Veazey of Benton, AR; a brother, William Lowell Carter, Jr. of Wilson, NC; a sister, Martha Jane Willis of Millington, TN; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and his special buddy, his dog Zack.
Graveside services were Saturday February 25 at 10:30 am at Bellefonte Cemetery in Bellefonte, Arkansas with Pastor Mark Enloe officiating. Visitation was held at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Pallbearers wwere be Marlon Bradley, Mike Bunting, Steven Tucker, Dennis Veazey, John Casey and Jerry White.
Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Scott Ferguson, Dr. Corey Jackson and Dr. Abdelaal.
