He was born in Harrison on March 8, 1990, to parents, Steven and Theresa (McDougald) Harper. He was a 2008 graduate of Harrison High School, where he played football in junior high and enjoyed woodworking and helping Mr. Watts on his farm.

Jeremiah loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed jeeping, four-wheeling and hunting.  He was loved by everybody.  He was always smiling and would do anything for anyone.  He was funny and a joy to be around.  Jeremiah was deeply loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ethel and J.D. Harper and Patricia and Kenneth McDougald and several great aunts and great uncles.
