Jeffrey David "Jeff" Middleton, age 63, of Jasper, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

The son of Conard and Ina (Greenhaw) Middleton was born in Harrison on March 11, 1963. He was a lifelong resident of Newton County and a member of Mount Judea Church of Christ.

Jeff worked at Newton County Special Services and Angel Works for over 20 years. He loved to listen to the radio and would spend hours listening with his dad to bluegrass, tapping his foot. He enjoyed collecting Matchbox cars. Jeff also loved to participate in the Special Olympics. He looked forward to it every year, especially the trip to Hot Springs. He was very proud of the large collection of ribbons and medals he won over the years.

Jeff was always jolly and happy. He had a mischievous side too, playing jokes on people and hiding from his co-workers and caregivers. Jeff was deeply loved by his family and his friends, and he will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Connie Sue Kimrey.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Connie Middleton of Harrison; his nephews, Michael Chad Middleton, Court Middleton, Chris Middleton, Caley Middleton, and Joshua Kimrey; several great nieces and great nephews, extended family and a host of dear friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 30 from 3 PM to 5 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, August 31, 2026 at Smith Cemetery in Vendor under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are his caregivers: Theresa Campbell, Chantelle Campbell, Rachel Lange, Glenda Henderson, and Cheyenna Dye.
