Jeffrey Brasel, age 28 of Jasper, AR, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Jasper. He was born January 9, 1980 in Harrison, AR the son of Coy and Judy (Wallace) Brasel.

He had played for the Jasper Pirates Basketball Team and loved to show pigs for the Jasper FFA. He had worked for the Arkansas Highway Department and was a member of the Jasper Assembly of God Church. He was a graduate of Jasper High School.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy and Jesse Brasel and Dewey and Iva Wallace.

Survivors are his parents; Coy and Judy Brasel of Jasper; his girlfriend, Jen Kelso of Tonitown; a son, Malachi Moses Brasel of Parthenon; two daughters, Kaylee Sue Brasel and Ashley Rene Middleton, both of Jasper; a sister, Tamara A. McKinley of Mt. Judea and a special aunt, June Jock of Jasper.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Jasper First Baptist Church with Raymond White, Troy Walker and Brandon Brasel officiating. Burial will follow in Jasper Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Garland Brasel, Jerry Brasel, Billy Brasel, Roy Brasel, Kenneth Brasel, Harold Brasel, Coy Essex, Ralph Sizemore, and Anthony Atkinson.

Honorary pallbearers are Jasper High School Class of 1998 and Stephanie Bushnell.
