Jeffery Allen "Jeff" Carter, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at home at the age of 43.

The son of Jimmy Dale Carter and Jo Ann (Matlock) Carter was born on March 2, 1975 in Harrison, Arkansas.  He was a lifetime resident of Boone County.

Jeff was a loving father, son, brother and grandson. He loved fishing, listening to music and NASCAR. Jeff also enjoyed driving his truck on the back roads of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Benny Joe Matlock, his paternal grandparents, Buddy and Edna Carter.

Jeff is survived by his father, Jimmy Dale Carter; his mother, Jo Ann Carter; his grandmother, Anna Matlock; one daughter Ashley Carter; one brother, Justin Carter and wife Angeline and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Raymond Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Cemetery in Bellefonte.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1-2 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Justin Carter, Jamie Dean, Bailey Carter, Ethan Carter, Michael Hill and Jason Hathcoat.
