Jeanette Louise Sykes, age 76 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at her home.

The daughter of Valintine and Bertha (Welch) Voge was born November 14, 1938 in Eugene, Oregon.

Jeanette was a well known floral designer while residing in California. She enjoyed arts, crafts and home decorating. She also enjoyed the "Red Hat" ladies club. She had been a longtime volunteer at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Alma Lorraine Voge.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Wayne Sykes of the home; sons, Kirk Sykes and former wife, Jo Dawn Sykes of Harrison and Todd Sykes and fiance' Kim Davies of Harrison; daughter, Barbara McClaughrey of Harrison; sisters, Velma Meister of Sacramento, California, Alta Lennox of California and Anita Turner of Sacramento, California; and five grandchildren, Ty, Tori and Tristen Sykes, and Kayla Sykes and Hunter McClaughrey; and one great-granddaughter, Sammara Smith.

Visitation was Friday, December 26, 2014 before services at Coffman Funeral Home.

Graveside service was Friday, December 26, 2014 at White Church Cemetery with Rev. Sam Boyd officiating.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.
