Jeanette M (Granny) Frazon, age 87 of Harrison, passed away Sat. December 6, 2008 at Harrison Hospice House.

The daughter of John L. and Juniata (Skirvin) Cowart, she was born December 9, 1920 at Kansas City, Missouri.

She had lived here since 2002, moving from Kansas City, MO; was a homemaker and member of Batavia Assembly of God Church.

Music was a joy to her and she enjoyed playing several different musical instruments.

Her husband, Edward Frazon preceded her in death, along with one son, James C. Hawks; two sisters, Naomi Roth and Mary Katherine Cowart; 6 brothers, Edward Murphy, and Slater, Russell, Donald, Johnny, and Marion Cowart.

Survivors include one son, Virgil Raymond Hawks and his wife, Barbara Ann of Sacramento, California; two daughters, Betty Roberts and her husband, Carroll of Harrison and Mary Ruth Dickerson; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, and 21 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday, December 8, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Services followed Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Batavia Assembly of God Church with Bro. Tollie Sutterfield officiating. Burial was in Alpena Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jeremy Sanders, Kelly Jackson, Cory Tiffany, Seth Tiffany, Justin Beck, and Charlie Redline. Honorary pallbearers were Nurses and Staff of Harrison Hospice House.
