Obituary
Jay Wayne Jarrott, age 62 of Harrison, AR, passed away Friday, May 16, 2008 at his home.
The son of John Christopher and Willie Evelyn (Stockup) Jarrott, was born August 21, 1945 in Lubbock, TX.
Jay had lived in this area since July 1989, moving from Lubbock, TX. He and his wife, Carolyn (Wright) Jarrott were married September 1, 1967. He enjoyed old rock and roll and also enjoyed old cars.
His parents preceded him in death, along with his son, Jay Douglas Jarrott, and brothers, Tommy and Chris Jarrott.
Survivors are his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Jarrott of the home; children, Lonnie Jarrott of Phoenix, AZ, Christy Jones and her husband, Tim of Evening Shade, AR, and Jessica Sanders and her husband, Justin of Calico Rock, AR; brother, Art Jarrott of Harrison, AR; and grandchildren, Kevin Jones, Corey Jarrott, Neely Jarrott, Zack Jarrott, Colton Jones, and Nick Jarrott. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was open at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Services were Monday, May 19, 2008 at Coffman Chapel.
Cremation will follow. Honorary pallbearers were Michael Wright, Douglas Wright, Randy Wright, Tim Jones, and Justin Sanders.
