Obituary
Jay Curtis Buford, age 48 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Marble Falls, Arkansas.
The son of Johnny B. and Margaret Frances (Price) Buford was born January 28, 1963 in West Monroe, Louisiana.
He was the manager of Watts & Webb Floor Covering in Harrison and had moved to Newton County in 1983 from Louisiana. He was a member of the Half Fanatics Running Association and was of the Baptist faith.
Jay was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
Survivors are his wife, Tina (Webb) Buford of Jasper, Arkansas; his mother, Margaret Buford of Winnfield, Louisiana; two daughters and sons-in-law, Whitney and Brandon Campbell of Russellville, Arkansas and Janah and Aaron Carter of Compton, Arkansas; one brother, Greg Buford of Winnfield, Louisiana; one sister, Joy Reed of Florien, Louisiana; two grandsons, Tyler Campbell and Aaden Carter and a grandchild due in May 2011.
Funeral services were Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bro. Lonnie Burks officiating. Burial followed in Jasper Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper. Visitation was Friday, February 18, 2011 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers were Jackie Webb, Geoff Webb, Brandon Campbell, Aaron Carter, Forrest White and Henry Huber. Honorary pallbearers were his friends at Watts & Webb Floor Covering.
