IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason Wayne
Gonzales
August 24, 1971 – April 4, 2025
Jason Wayne Gonzales, age 53, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025.
The son of Benny Joe Gonzales and Cheryl June (Dearing) Gonzales was born August 24, 1971 in Harrison. Jason was a lifelong resident of Boone County and had attended Union Baptist Church. He was a 1989 graduate of Valley Springs High School. He worked at Claridge Products for over 15 years.
Jason loved to watch the History Channel and Kobra Kai. He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting until his health no longer permitted. Jason loved his family and treasured spending time with them. He was a loving and caring husband, and the best father, son, grandpa, and brother. He always had a positive, outgoing personality, putting the needs of others before his own. He had a great sense of humor and loved to pester and joke. He would never admit it, but he even had a soft spot for animals.
His passing is a tremendous loss for his family and his friends, and he will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Joe; grandparents, Wilson and Dovie Dearing, and John and Kay Gonzales; an aunt, Annette Simmons; and two uncles, Jerry and Carl Gonzales.
Jason is survived by his wife of 33 years, Becky (Martin) Gonzales; his children, Andy (Phylicia) Gonzales and Brittany Gonzales; granddaughter, Ashlynn Daniel; his brothers, Lonny Gonzales and Johnathen Gonzales (fiancée, Sarah Mundy); uncles and aunts, Rick and Kelly, Anthony and Diane, Brenda and Morgan, and Dennis; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Alvin, Tim and Cheryl, and Teresa and Gary; nieces and nephews, Nathan, Brian, Lily, Garrett, Susan, and Angie; several great nieces and nephews, and a host of extended relatives and dear friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, April 9 (2025) at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Joey Reed and Jonathen Gonzales will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home.
There is no visitation.
Pallbearers are Jonathen Gonzales, Anthony Gonzales, Logan Manes, Brian Martin, Junior Quenzer, and Gary Wienert.
