Obituary

Jarrett Lynn Willis, age 62 of Parthenon, Arkansas passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Cox South in Springfield, Missouri.

The son of Wilburn Edward and Hazel Ruth (Daniels) Willis was born on January 6, 1952 in Harrison, Arkansas.

He had worked 38 years for Jasper School as a bus driver, mechanic and in maintenance. He was a Newton County Justice of the Peace for six years and song leader and Sunday School teacher for many years. He loved farming, camping and spending time with his family.

Jarrett married Judy Breedlove on March 6, 1970 at Smith Mountain. The ceremony was performed by Judy's father, Bro. Wayne Breedlove.

He was a lifetime resident of Newton County and a member of the Buffalo Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilburn Willis; his father-in-law, Wayne Breedlove; a brother-in-law, Eugene Villines and a nephew, Shane Willis.

Survivors are his wife, Judy Willis; his mother, Hazel Willis; four sons, Stephen and wife, Brandy Willis, Stanton and wife, Emily Willis, Shawn and wife, Chrystal Willis and Trevor Willis and girlfriend, Kaylea Villines; a brother, Shannon and wife, Carolyn Willis; four sisters, Jo Etta Villines, Vendetta Sams, Lequitta and husband, Donnie Davis and Marketta and husband, Stanley McCutcheon; six grandchildren, Morghan, Kaleigh, Jarrett, Sawyer, Jase and Ashlyn. Also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Funeral service was Monday, June 30, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Billy Paul Matlock and Bobby Young officiating. Burial followed in Buffalo Cemetery at Parthenon, Arkansas.

Visitation was Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers were Marvin Wilson, Randall Robinson, Brock Matlock, Kevin Villines, Randall Villines, Stanley McCutcheon, David Morgan and Grant Fowler.

Honorary pallbearers were grandchildren, the employees and staff of Jasper School, Buffalo Church, Ford Carlton, Ronnie Daniels and Tina James.
