Janice Lea Johnson, 77 of Harrison, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Mount Vista Nursing and Rehab.
The daughter of Johnie and Murl (Smithson) Milam was born April 13, 1940 at Dongola, Arkansas. She was a lifelong resident of Searcy and Boone Counties and worked for many years at Tyson's and Rock-Tenn. She was of Pentecostal faith.
Janice enjoyed gardening and cooking and loved her pets, especially her dog, Teddy. She was a hard worker, who loved her home and her family very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnie and Murl Milam, an infant child, Paul Eugene Eddings, and a brother, O'Dale Milam.
Janice is survived by her son, Danny Eddings and wife Jenny of Harrison; two brothers, Bob Milam and wife Carolyn of Harrison, David Milam of Sheridan, AR; three sisters, Genitta Harris and husband Billy, Teresa McGarrah and husband Dewey and Vena Rogers all of Harrison and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Dongola Cemetery with Bro. Arlis Burks and Bro. Dewey McGarrah officiating. Visitation will be open Tuesday from 8:00 AM to Noon. Pallbearers are family and friends.
