Janice L. Hunter, age 76 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Hillcrest Rehab in Harrison,with her children holding her hands.

The daughter of Alton and Eleanor Becker was born July 29, 1937 in Alba, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, John "Bo" Hafner; and three grandchildren, Krystal and Shannon Hafner and Robert Allen Baker.

She is survived by three daughters, Becky Eddings and husband, Lonnie and Renee Hafner, both of St. Joe, Arkansas, and Jackie Hern and husband, Bud of Harrison; one son, Wesley Baker of Des Moines, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Kisa Rodgers, Joe Eddings, Toby Eddings, Tony Hafner, Jessica Reed, Daniel Hern, Taylor Hern, and Robbie Harlan; ten great-grandchildren, Evan and Lauren Rodgers, Preston and Jolee Eddings, Kayleb Eddings, Christian Hafner, Wesley Reed, Dylan Hern, and Tatum and Carter Harlan.

She is also survived by her special companion, Bill Nuttall.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home.

There will be a memorial service held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church in Harrison.

In lieu of flowers her family requests donations be made to the Hillcrest Home or to the Ozark Humane Society.
