Janice Marie Criner, 53 of Vendor, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, surrounded by her children.
She was born at Harrison, Arkansas on October 18, 1966, to parents Sonny and Helen (Riddell) Stewart. She was a lifelong resident of Vendor and attended Bethlehem Church.
Janice loved hunting and going to deer camp. She also loved to be with her family and spend time with her grandkids. She loved watching her kids and grandkids play basketball. She was a devoted mom, grandma and friend, never afraid to help anyone. She was generous and would give you the shirt off her back. Janice loved the Lord, she enjoyed going to church, singing and giving her testimony.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sonny, her brother, Larry Stewart; 4 Uncles, Keltner, Daly, William and Melvin Riddell; and her grandparents, Sammie and Bertha Riddell.
Janice is survived by her mother, Helen Stewart; her sons, Justin Criner and Ryan Criner (Bobbie Mahurin); her daughter, Jessica Criner (Steven Hall) all of Bergman; four grandchildren, Dominik Criner, Graceyn Blanton, Wayton Blanton and Braxton Miller; her sister, Rosemary Henson (Terry) of Mount Judea; her longtime companion and his children, Keith LaFollette, Alesha LaFollette and LaTrisha Lawrence; the father of her children, Joe Criner and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends who loved her and will miss her.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Monday, June 22, 2020 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Kenneth Campbell and Jerry Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Dodson Cemetery at Bass.
Pallbearers are P.J. Campbell, Terry Henson, Travis Flippo, Brandon Riddell, Adam Riddell and Jody Collins.
Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Middleton and her grandkids.
Visitation will be open from 4-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help defray funeral expense.
In compliance with the Arkansas Department of Health for COVID-19 and State Phase 2 Directives for funerals and visitations at the funeral home/church are limited to a 2/3 capacity of the facility. All attendees over age 10 are required to furnish and wear a mask.
