James R. Yarbrough, age 75 of Valley Springs, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.

The son of James R. Yarbrough, Sr. and Flonnie (Baker) Yarbrough was born January 18, 1935 at St. Joe, Arkansas.

James was a lifelong resident of this area and was a member of Valley Springs First Baptist Church. He was a a heavy equipment operator for McClinton Anchor Company.

His parents preceded him in death, along with a brother, Ben Yarbrough; and his special brother-in-law, Lee Roy Harris.

Survivors are his wife, Ann (Harris) Yarbrough of the home; sons, Rick Yarbrough and wife Denise of Valley Springs and Michael Yarbrough, Las Vegas, Nevada; his brothers, Bob Yarbrough and wife Julia of Valley Springs; his sisters, Jimmie Yarbrough, Stella Wells and husband Kenneth and Faye Yarbrough all of Valley Springs; his grandchildren, Jason Yarbrough of Valley Springs and Erik and Heather Yarbrough of Everton; and his great grandson, Keagan Yarbrough of Everton.

Graveside service was Friday July 2, 2010 at Osborne Cemetery in St. Joe with Pastor Carl Garvin officiating. Visitation was Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers was Jason Yarbrough, Erik Yarbrough, Rick Yarbrough, Bob Yarbrough, Rob Yarbrough and Larry Harris.

Honorary pallbearer was Michael Yarbrough.
