James Robert Robertson, age 73 of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.

The son of Edward John Robertson and Rhoda Odessa (Glover) Robertson, was born November 2, 1938 in Houston County, Texas.

James enjoyed working on and running tractors, and bushhogging.

James was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Ronnie Robertson and Randy Robertson; brother, Roy Robertson; first wife, Gloria and second wife, Shirley; and stepson Chris Hudgins.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Robertson of the home; son, Robbie Robertson of Omaha, Arkansas; stepson, Andy Hudgins of Vilonia, Arkansas; brothers, Tom Robertson of Casper, Wyoming and Charlie Robertson of Marble Falls, Arkansas; sisters, Geraldine Foster of Bartley, Nebraska and Annabelle Hines of Geneva, Iowa; and several grandchildren, great granchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service was Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Valley Springs in Valley Springs, Arkansas with Brother Carl Garvin and Brother Rick Posey officiating. Visitation was Monday, March 26, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, Arkansas. Burial followed in Western Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robbie Robertson, Andy Hudgins, Chuck Lane, and Church members of First Baptist Church of Valley Springs.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Brian Linn, Charlie Robertson, Tom Robertson, RC Roberson, Larry Ross, and the staff of Legacy Hospice.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local Heart and Cancer Society.
