James Michael Ramsey, of Western Grove, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

The son of Marvin Ray Ramsey and Kathleen (Moore) Ramsey was born on January 8, 1965 in Harrison.  James was a lifelong resident of Newton and Boone Counties, graduating from Western Grove High School in 1983.  He was a Christian.

James worked at Guy Gilbert Tool and Die for over 20 years.  He enjoyed woodworking, working on cars and watching TV, especially Heartland, NASCAR and football.  One of the highlights of his day was marking the days off the calendar.

He loved his family and his two boys.  James was a loyal and dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Ramsey, a brother, Lee Ramsey, a great niece, Autumn and his mother-in-law, Lona Thacker.

James is survived by his wife of 29 years, Becky Ramsey; his mother, Kathleen Ramsey; his sons, Brad Farmer and Marty Farmer; his brother, Chris Ramsey and wife Crystal; his sister, Carolyn Christian; a grandson, Brayden Robert Farmer; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Michelle Trammell, Steve and Lora Cotton, Sharon and James Fowler, Donnie and Kathy Thacker and Nancy Trammell and several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Pastor Dennis Sisco officiating, burial will follow at Western Grove Cemetery.  Due to inclement weather, the visitation has been rescheduled to one hour before the service on Tuesday.  Masks are required.

Pallbearers are Darren Ramsey, Dustin Ramsey, Adam Ramsey, Nathan Bing, Andrew Hughes and Stephen Cotton.

Honorary pallbearers are the Washington Regional Medical Center ICU Nurses and Staff.
