Obituary
James Edward "Jimmy" Thompson, Jr., of Diamond City, Arkansas passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Hospice House in Harrison at the age of 45.
The son of James Edward Thompson, Sr., and Dorothy (Meadows) Thompson was born September 29, 1970 at St. Louis, Missouri.
He had been a resident of Diamond City since 1999 and worked at Performance Marine for 13 years.
He loved hunting and his dog "Little Richard". Jimmy had a unique personality and was loved by his many friends. He would give you the shirt off his back and help anyone in need.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 20 years, Shirley Thompson of the home; his aunt, Jean Williams of Diamond City and his parents, James and Dorothy Thompson.
A memorial gathering will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Arrowhead Treehouse, 1446 N. Diamond Blvd, Diamond City, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, a potluck dinner will be held at the memorial gathering and you are invited to bring a favorite dish to join the family in celebrating Jimmy's life.
