James Daniel "Danny" Owen 82 of Harrison AR., formerly of Star City AR., passed away on February 22, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Danny was born January 4, 1937 to the late Lamar Owen and Mary Frances Davis Owen. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad until retirement 2006. He loved working on cars, deer hunting, farming and fishing.

Danny was proceeded in death by his wife, Edna Lou Harper Owen, step-mother, Bessie Mae Owen and son-in-law, Keith Lytle.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Deyon Owen McMillan of No. Little Rock and Stacie Owen Lytle of Monticello. 2 sisters, Emma Jean Hill and husband Bob, Linda Conner, all of Harrison Ar.;5 grandchildren, Jamie (Hunter) Griffith, Jennifer (Jimmy) Trudell, Mary (Travis) Garlington, Jordan McMillan and Joshua Lytle; 5 great grandchildren; a special niece, Carol Lee Newman (Phillip) Tucker; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be held on March 13 at 2PM, Heflin Cemetery, Star City AR.
