James Devin Bulla, of Harrison, passed away on April 8, 2023 at his home. He was 38 years old.
The son of James Owen and Tammie Dee (Bruce) Bulla was born on January 12, 1985 in Blytheville, Arkansas.
Devin graduated from Bergman High School in 2004. He loved motorcycles and dirt bikes and was a terrific mechanic, who could "tear it up and turn around and fix it". Devin was a fearless daredevil who was always up for an adventure. He had a kind and loving spirit and would help anyone who needed it. He also had a love for animals especially his dog, Glory. Devin was a loving son, brother, and friend and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Charles and Emma Elizabeth Bulla; his maternal grandfather, Granville Ray Bruce; one uncle, Allen McCutchen Bulla; one aunt, Becky Bruce; and two cousins, Whitney Rae Bruce and Lisa Chalene Bulla.
Survivors include his parents, James Owen and Tammie Bulla; one sister and her husband, Autumn and James Poynter; grandparents, Bonnie Faye and J.W. White; four nieces, Taya Coffman and husband, Taner, Brittany Kelley, Haley Patrick and her husband, Andrew, and Kimberly Poynter; two great nephews, Boone and Axle; three uncles, Charles Bulla and Almeda, Rick Bulla and his wife, Sally, and Terry Bruce; two aunts, Nancy Stanage and husband, Doug and Tiffany Thompson and husband, Hume; his great friend and mentor, Jason Bowser; and many, many cousins.
Funeral service will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Pastor Ross Harris will officiate with Jason Bowser speaking. The family requests guests to "Come as you are" to honor Devin.
Graveside service will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Dunklin Memorial Gardens in Kennett, Missouri. Pastor Johnny Bogle will officiate. Family and friends will service as pallbearers.
