Jake Cain age 78 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away, Tuesday September 25, 2012 at Bristol Pointe Health and Rehab center in Harrison.

The son of Jerry and Dovie (Nicholas) Cain was born January 26, 1934 in Jasper, Arkansas.

Jake lived in the area most of his life and was a member of Oregon Flat Baptist Church in Bergman. He had worked for Anchor Die Cast until he became a farmer and farmhand.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Betty Jane Rippenkroger: brothers, Marion Cain, Joe Cain and Walter Cain: sister Marie Ray, and one grandchild, Derek Scott Cain.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Cain of the home: sons, Danny Cain of Harrison, Arkansas and John Cain of Lead Hill, Arkansas; daughters, Fern Cain of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Angie Williams of Omaha, Arkansas and Tracy Cash of Harrison, Arkansas; brother, Bill Cain of Lead Hill, Arkansas; sisters, Juanita Crawford of Lead Hill, Arkansas, Ruth Kelley of Oregon; nineteen grandchildren:, and seven great- grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Oregon Flat Baptist Church in Bergman with Gene France and Tommy Jackson officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Highland Oncology Group, Dr. Bill Mears,
Dr. Tom Leslie, and all the grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Hills Hospice House.
