Obituary
Jacqueline M. Dirks, age 81 of Omaha, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Joseph H. and Elizabeth (Woods) McCombs, she was born October 12, 1926 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jacqueline was a member of Omaha Methodist Church and was active in the United Methodist Women's group. She was President and a longtime member of the Home Extension Club.
Her parents preceded her in death, along with her husband, Robert E. Dirks; and a sister, Betty Oakley.
Survivors are her children, Barbara White and husband, Mickey of Camaron, Africa, Jeanne Chisum of Norman, OK, Daniel Dirks and wife, Jill of Omaha, AR, Susan Dirks of Baltimore, MD; a sister, Anne Hoag of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
There will be a memorial service at 11 A.M. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Omaha Methodist Church.
