Jacob Dale
Goucher
March 4, 1994 – March 5, 2026
Jacob Dale Goucher, 32, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 5, 2026 to spend eternity with his Creator.
Jacob was born on March 4, 1994, in Harrison, Arkansas, the son of Jerry Dale Goucher and Charise Danielle (Shelton) Hunter. Jacob lived life with humor, heart, and a spirit that made friends everywhere he went.
He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, and had a passion for guns, archery, and spending time outside. Jacob also loved to travel and spent many adventures on the road across the country with his beloved fur-baby and constant companion, Chica Marie Goucher.
Jacob was known for his quick wit and unforgettable sense of humor. He had a way of saying exactly what everyone else was thinking and could make people laugh in any situation. His humor, honesty, and big personality made him someone people were naturally drawn to.
More than anything, Jacob loved his family fiercely, even his self-proclaimed "smothering sisters". He also had the special ability to make family wherever life took him. To his nieces and nephews, he proudly held the title of “Uncle FUNkle,” a role he embraced with joy, laughter, and plenty of fun.
Jacob faced health challenges throughout his life, but he never allowed them to define him or keep him from living life on his own terms.
He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Diana Goucher; his biological mother, Charise Hunter; his brother and fiancée, Bobby Counce and Kimberly Bray; his sisters and their husbands, Leslie and Derek Methot and Courtney and Jay Wallace; his beloved nieces and nephews, Adi, Liam, Jordan, Tuscany, Valencia, and Athens; his paternal grandfather, Dale Goucher; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Shelton; and other aunts, uncles and cousins, his girlfriend Shay Hawkins; and his cherished dog, Chica Marie Goucher.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerald Shelton.
Jacob will be remembered for his laughter, his loyalty, and the way he could turn strangers into friends and friends into family. He was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
I think Jacob would tell everyone, “Don’t be sad—just tell a good story about me and make sure it’s the funny version.”
