Jackie Sue Starkey, age 78, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away with her husband and daughter by her side on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the Hospice House.

The daughter of Hulin Devo and Syble Irene (Cone) Harp was born September 9, 1945 in Harrison.

Jackie loved to cook for friends and family and made the best pies. She loved her flowers and bluebirds, that she enjoyed checking every day.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hulin and Sybil Harp; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harlin and Ann Harp, and Dwain and Pat Harp.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gordon "Sonny" Starkey; her daughter, Natalie Starkey; a brother and sister-in-law, G.B. and Debbie Harp; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends and neighbors.

At Jackie's request, no services will be held.

Her family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in her memory to Hospice of the Hills, 501 E Sherman, Harrison, AR, 72601.

The family wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses at Hospice of the Hills for the amazing care given to Jackie.
