Jack Parttridge, age 75, of Hasty, Arkansas, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, July 24, 2023 at home.

The son of John and Mary Nell (Downs) Parttridge was born on October 30, 1947 in Drew, Mississippi.  He lived and worked in Merigold, Mississippi most of his life, before moving to Arkansas in 1996. He retired from Baxter Labs, where he worked in maintenance; he also worked as a welder/fabricator, cotton farmer, and cattle farmer.

Jack was a talented singer and musician, playing lead guitar.  He loved country-western music and watching old westerns on TV. He was a gifted storyteller and a skilled voice impersonator. He loved his animals, especially his cows, dogs, and chickens.  Jack was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  He loved his family and treasured spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and six sisters, and four brothers.

Jack is survived by his wife of 12 years, Sandra (Jennings) Parttridge; his children and their spouses, Philip and Venita Parttridge, Greg and Debbie Parttridge, and Sandra and Vic Sundquist; step-children, John Jennings, Billy Ray Jennings, Dennie Permenter, and Billy Jennings; a brother, James Calvin "Sonny" Parttridge (Becky); three sisters, Shirley Wilkerson, Janice Sigler (Robert), and Jimmie Best; 7 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Graveside service will be at 10 AM, Friday, July 28, 2023 at Sand Hill Cemetery. Pastor Coleman "Buddy" Jennings will officiate.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers are Tom Simmons, Ron Yarbrough, Tommy Haynes, Jack Criner, Brandon Riddell, and Eric Junior Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers are Vic Sundquist, John Jennings and Frankie Rosamond.
