Obituary
Iva K. Denny, age 88 of St. Joe, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The daughter of Benjamin Frank and Effie (Brown) Keithley, she was born September 21, 1920 at Pindall, Arkansas.
She was a devout Christian and a housewife. Iva had been a lifetime resident of Searcy county and attended Beckham Church.
Her husband, Walt Denny preceded her in death along with her brothers, Otis, Horace, Bert, Rufus, and Rosco Keithley; brothers-in-law, Ira Shults and Cecil Robertson; 2 nephews and 1 niece.
Survivors are her son and his wife, James and Linda Shults of Bruno; two sisters, Lea Robertson and Bell Shults both of Everton; nieces, Kathy Reeves, Karmen Shultz; nephew, Willie Horn; two grandchilren, Christina Feeser and Brian Rowe; and 2 great grandchildren, Anna and Thomas; and a special friend, Clayton Bryant.
Visitation was Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. There was a graveside service Monday, November 3, 2008 at Beckham Cemetery near Everton, Arkansas.
