Iris Dean "Deanie" Rogers, age 60 of Lead Hill, Arkansas passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, Arkansas.
The daughter of Vitas "Sonny" and Zelma Dean "Deana" Vanderberg, she was born June 23, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Deanie was the loving wife of Randy Rogers. They were married November 23, 1966 and shared a happy life for 42 years together.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired from the Arkansas Education System. She enjoyed showing, raising, and watching Missouri Foxtrotters.
Survivors are her husband, Randy Rogers of the home; her son, Randy L. Rogers and his wife, Tina of Lead Hill; her daughter, Crystal Rogers of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her three grandchildren, Alexandria "A.M", Tyler and Chase Rogers, all of Lead Hill. She is also survived by two brothers, Gary Vanderberg and his wife, Tina of Dayton, Nevada and Nick Vandenberg and his wife, Patty of Cane Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service is 11 A.M. Thursday, January 31, 2009 at Kessee Cemetery in Lead Hill with Billy Rogers.
Pallbearers are Dean Powell, T.C. Willbanks, Rob Akins, Bob Smith, Roy "Buster" Taylor, Roy Harrington, Roy Rogers, and Tim Rogers.
