Imogene Esther Hicks, age 94 of Deer, passed away, Monday, September 13, 2021 at Maples Nursing Facility in Springdale, AR.

The daughter of Edgar Thee and Ova Foy (Holland) Henderson was born April 9, 1927 in Wayton, AR.

Imogene was a member of the Wayton United Baptist Church.  She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. Imogene would always say, "She Loved".

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Lee Hicks; her son, Gary Hicks; her daughter-in-law, Kathryn Hicks; her brother, Donald Henderson; and her niece, Vickie Kendrick.

Imogene is survived by her son, Hal Hicks and his wife Marilyn of Berryville, AR; her daughter, Judy Sullins and her husband David of Springdale, AR; her sister, Annabelle Villines of Lowell, AR; her sister-in-law, Goldie Henderson of Springdale, AR; 8 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Wayton United Baptist Church with Brother Bobby Young officiating.  Burial will follow in Wayton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Hicks, Steve Hicks, Ryan Henderson, Richie Henderson, Craig Hicks, and Chris Hicks.

Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Casey, The Looper Family, Jason Phillips and his son Baylor, Jordan Kendrick, and all of her great and great great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.
