Imogene Henderson, of Jasper, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Somerset Senior Living of Harrison. She was 85 years old.

The daughter of Ira and Georgie (Carlton) Garrison was born on June 15, 1936 in Murray, Arkansas.

Imogene was a lifelong resident of Newton County. She enjoyed sewing but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henderson; her parents; and one brother, Don Garrison.

Survivors include one son and his wife, Daniel and Glenda Henderson; three daughters, Sharon Wise and husband, John, Donna Carter, and Carol Toler and husband, Robert; six grandchildren, Derek Henderson and wife, Stephanie, Darren Henderson and wife, Mallisa, Jeremiah Taylor, Jessica Hendrickson, Denise Carter, and Heath Day; one step grandson, Brady Seaman; nine great grandchildren; and seven brothers and sisters, Shelley Garrison, Harold Garrison and wife, Helen, Virgie Raby and husband, James, Doyal Garrison, Jim Garrison, Bonnie Ramsey and husband, "Doc", and Phyllis Taylor and husband, Sam; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Graveside service was Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Union Hill Cemetery. Pastor Tony Taylor officiated. Pallbearers were Jeremiah Taylor, Heath Day, Keith Ramsey, Derek Henderson, Darren Henderson, and Dion Henderson.

There is no visitation planned.
