Obituary
Ida Mae McGinnis, age 89, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 in Paris, Arkansas.
The daughter of Clarence and Rosie (Gale) Pellham was born on April 23, 1927 in Pelsor, Arkansas.
Ida was a member of the Lurton Assembly of God Church, where she was active in helping with church dinners and quilting. She also helped with fundraising events for the March of Dimes and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy McGinnis; a son, Paul McGinnis; a grandson, Breydan Gahagan; and brothers and sisters, Lily Pellham, Granvel Pellham, Floyd Pellham, Tom Pellham and Alice Duck.
She is survived by 4 daughters, Rheta Jackson and husband Bill of Witts Springs, Arkansas, Mary Lou Cunningham and husband Joseph of Calera, Oklahoma, Shirleen Fuentes and husband Manolito of Sacramento, California and Pauline Hutchins and husband Larry of Dardanelle, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Ruth Reddell of Pelsor, Arkansas and Bonnie Smith of Clarksville, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren, Rheta Gahagan, Curtis Griffis, Dana Cunningham, Jeremiah Cunningham and Shirley Rich-Miguel; 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many other family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 10:00 am at Coleman Cemetery near Pelsor, Arkansas with Brother Stan Taylor officiating. Pallbearers will include family and friends.
