Hulen B. Daniel, age 86 of Bellefonte, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The son of George and Mary Daniel was born September 27, 1926 in Mt. Judea, Arkansas.

Hulen was drafted into the Army in December 1944 and served his country inland and overseas in the Phillippine Islands. He was honorably discharged in September 1946. He married his wife, Alline McDaniel on April 26, 1947.

He was a member of Valley Springs Baptist Church and had retired from Claridge Products. He was an outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt.

Hulen was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Floyd Daniel and Claude Daniel; and a sister, Mary Hendrix.

Survivors are his wife of 66 years, Alline Daniel of the home; his children, Arlin Daniel and Jeanie of Harrison, Gary Daniel and Pansy of Harrison, Dianne Coombe and Johnny Flippo of Harrison, and Joe Daniel and Jacquie of Brazoria, Texas; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a great friend and favorite canine, Punky; a host of other family and friends; and a very special family friend, Brenda Smalley.

Visitation was Friday, March 8, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

Funeral service was Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Coffman Funeral Home with Paul Holder officiating and a special speaker, Allen Bowser.

Burial followed in Maplewood Cemetery with pallbearers being Gary Lloyd Daniel, Eric Daniel, Stan Darnell, Chad Darnell, Chris Hill, and Nathan Hill.

Honorary pallbearers were Donald Hendrix, Kevin Jones, Travis McDaniel, Jeff Drewery, and Keith Pettis.
