Hubert D. Roberson, age 71 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The son of Leo and Ruby (Daniels) Roberson was born October 25, 1941 at Murray, Arkansas.
Hubert was a truck driver for Flexsteel for 18 years, was a manager for Diamond Cave, a Deputy Sheriff for the Newton County Sheriff's Office, and retired as the Newton County Clerk. He was very active in Newton County Government throughout the years.
Hubert loved being with his kids and grandkids and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, riding 4 wheelers, and grilling.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Gelene and Genelle.
Survivors are his children, Diana Branham and husband, James, Tim Roberson, Scott Roberson and wife, Jennifer, Becky Roberson, Keith Roberson, and Kevin Roberson and wife, Jenni, all of Harrison, Arkansas; his best friend and companion, Nedra Daniels of Jasper; the mothers of his children, Betty Payne and Esther Roberson; sisters, Genevieve Brasel and Linda Kilgore both of Jasper; eleven grandchildren, T. J. Branham, Ty Roberson, Haylea Roberson, Summer Roberson, Zachary Luper, Timothy Roberson, Ethan Roberson, Kenslee Roberson, Blain Roberson, Torrin Woolsey, and Carter Roberson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Wednesday, September 11, 2013 with the service Thursday, September 12, 2013 both at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper. Brother James Compton will officiate.
Burial followed in Jasper Cemetery with pallbearers being Tim Roberson, Scott Roberson, Keith Roberson, Kevin Roberson, Timothy Branham, Ty Roberson, James Branham, and Doug Brasel.
Honorary pallbearers were Colonel Cobb Madewell, John David Phillips, Charles Raulston, Jr., Clinton Daniels, Paul Daniels, Randy Laverty, and Billy Dale Brasel.
